Locality Data

A key element of Locality working is the collection of data, which allows us to build up the intelligence within the individual localities and helps support the development of future priorities.

Locality Data Profiles are produced annually and are continually updated.

The profiles are shared with county, district and parish Members at the organised Locality forums. The profiles contain data broken down to ward level where possible; on a range of issues e.g. life expectancy rates to the number of ASB incidents.

Anecdotal evidence has always been readily available, but now partners are in a position where we can articulate this data to give a true reflection of the key issues within the localities, which have previously been masked by District data.

The data sets are then used to produce Locality Delivery Plans.

South Staffordshire Ward Profile

Following the release of ward level data from the ONS Census 2011, we have now been able to produce a ward profile for each of the 25 wards in South Staffordshire. These profiles provide a snap shot of the wards and how they have changed since the previous census in 2001.
