Caddick Farm Estate

The Caddick Farm Estate was a project taken on by the South Staffordshire Partnership in 2010.

The estate was build in the 1960’s and comprises of small houses grouped together in terraces. The houses do not have frontage road access and the original layout included numerous garage courts and communal parking areas.

The following are some of the main problems of the Caddick Farm Estate:

    •    Crime
    •    Un adopted footpaths
    •    Lack of security
    •    Garage courts
    •    Parking areas
    •    Lack of off street parking
    •    Overall parking provision
    •    Landscape treatment

The partnership have carried out a variety of work to improve the estate including a ‘Clean Up’ day, where team of local volunteers and staff from the district council, fire service and police all joined forces to remove graffiti, carry out strimming, weeding and litter picking.

The local village agent has developed an action plan for the estate to continue the good work.
